The City Vice-Mayor acts as presiding officer of the
Sanguniang Panlungsod and signs all warrants drawn on
the City Treasurer for all expenditures for the operation of
the Sangguniang Panlungsod.
Appoints all officials and employees of the Sangguniang
Panlungsod except those manner of appointment is
specifically provided for under the existing laws subject to
the Civil Service laws, rules and regulations.
Assists the City Mayor to an effective, orderly, efficient
and productive City Government.
Implements the adopted internal rules of procedures by
the Sangguniang Panglungsod during regular and special
sessions.
Make sure that necessary ordinances and resolutions are
are enacted and adopted, respectively by the Sangguniang
Panglunsod.
Exercises such other power and perform such other duties
and functions as maybe prescribed
