Citizen's Charter

Welcome to Citizen's Charter Website of Antipolo City
It is with pride and pleasure that we present Antipolo City's version of Citizen's Charter, our very own guidebook towards effective and transparent governance as we move forward to realize our vision of a pilgrimage city at the center of the eastern growth corridor.
Antipolo City has the distinction as a veritable melting pot at the fringes of Metro Manila. Its rate of emigration far surpasses the native population's natural growth rate. Since cityhood in 1998, we have realized phenomenal growth just as we have to endure the travails of rapid urbanization, abetted in no small measure by this extraordinary influx of new residents. This puts a strain in the delivery of basic services.
This Citizen's Charter is thus our answer to this unique predicament. It is both a tool of governance and a mechanism for people empowerment. It promotes accountability, transparency and efficiency in the conduct of official business at City Hall. When people recognize this, they are encouraged to actively participate in community affairs, become more vocal stakeholders and positive force in the city's quest for sustainable progress, and strengthen public-private partnership in various developmental concerns, notwithstanding the diverse regional backgrounds.
In crafting this Citizen's Charter, we commend the Task Force on Project C.U.R.E. Red Tape in LGUs of the City Government and the Technical Working Group for coming up with a comprehensive listing of various services the different offices at City Hall offers, the guaranteed performance for each aspect of the service, the documents to be presented, the fees to be paid, and the feedback mechanism our constituencies can avail of when they are not satisfied with the services rendered. We likewise recognize the pioneering works of Marikina, Naga, and Sorsogon cities from where we drew much inspiration. The Department of Interior and Local Government guided us to produce a relevant booklet that stands out for easy reading among our constituencies.
We enjoin the City's stakeholders to take advantage of the benefits the Citizen's Charter provides for each of us. We can work better when we understand the procedures. We can grow together when we understand and help each other.
